The Chamber will have better understanding and appreciation of our member businesspersons’ concerns and provide mentoring and educational forums to help grow their businesses.

The Chamber will expand the income potential of all classifications of existing businesses and professions in the trade area and attract new businesses to the trade area. The Chamber will advocate activities in the county that will be beneficial to our member businesses and strongly oppose any changes that will be detrimental to the well being of our members. The Chamber will also create networking, advertising and marketing opportunities for its members at reduced cost.

The Chamber will take an active role in Local, State, and National legislative and governmental affairs affecting the county of Putnam, but no action is to be taken, nor any representation made without the express approval of the Board of Directors. The Chamber will use its resources to become an influential entity where by we will encourage, support and foster a free enterprise system through our local government officials.
